APC International requests Koko be immortalised

Abuja - The All Progressives Congress (APC) International Secretariat has called on the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to immortalise the late Hajiya Fati Koko.

Popularly known as Maitalla Tara, the woman who used her life savings to contribute to President Muhammadu Buhari's presidential election campaign, passed away earlier this week urged 95.

She donated N1 million to the successful campaign.

Francis John, Coordinator of the APC International Secretariat, said immortalising her would inspire others to emulate her exemplary leadership and power of free giving.

Furthermore, the secretariat resolved to honor and award Kebbi State Government on behalf Hajiya Fati Koko and family at the upcoming first APC Diaspora Convention and Investors Summit set for May 12– 14.

The event is set for Kansas City, Missouri in the United States.

Meanwhile, the secretariat sympathised with Buhari and Kebbi State following Koko's death.

"On behalf of APC International Secretariat, take her death in good faith. May Allah grant her soul repose in Al-jannah," said John.
