APC lawmakers accuse Dogara of working against Buhari

10 November 2015, 12:24

Abuja - Abuja - Some members of the House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Monday accused the Speaker, Hon. Yakubu Dogara of working against the interest of the President, Muhammadu Buhari and the party, reports Vanguard.

Operating under the aegis of the APC House Loyal Members, the lawmakers are aggrieved over the composition of the leadership of the Committees.

The aggrieved APC House members, who addressed the media after a closed door meeting with the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), alleged that all the activities of the Speaker were against the party and its leadership.

They noted that it was against the democratic principle to share committees equally with the opposition.

Spokesperson of the group, Musa Saraki Adar from Sokoto State said that Dogara was causing a division among the lawmakers, insisting that he must reverse the order.

The aggrieved lawmakers, who are loyalists to the Majority Leader of the House, Femi Gbajabiamila boycotted the inauguration of the committees on Monday.
