Abuja - In preparation for the governorship election in Edo State later in the year, the All the Progressives Congress (APC) has met with some of the aspirants vying to fly the party’s ticket in the election, reports New Telegraph.
The meeting, which was held on Wednesday at the National Secretariat of the party, had in attendance more than five governorship aspirants.

The meeting was called to discuss modalities for the conduct of the party’s primary election.
Ilenre Austin Emuan, one of the aspirants who spoke after the meeting, described the meeting as very fruitful.
He said the party leadership assured all the aspirants of a level playing field.
