Kano - The Kano State executive committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has suspended party Chairman, Umar Doguwa for being loyal to former Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso.
Doguwa's suspension is coming barely 24 hours after Governor Abdullahi Ganduje expressed willingness to reconcile with his predecessor.
Present at the meeting where the Chairman was suspended were state party leaders as well as Chairman of the state’s 44 local governments.

All the party leaders endorsed the suspension of Doguwa and pledged loyalty to Governor Ganduje.
Party Secretary, Abbas Sani Abbas, who announced the suspension of the Chairman, said Abdullahi Abbas, a former commissioner for the environment has been appointed as acting Chairman.
