APC vows to win South-east in 2019

Abakaliki - The All Progressives Congress (APC) has vowed to take over the South-east zone from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2019 general elections, reports Punch.

The party said it had all it takes to clinch all elective positions in the zone in the 2019 elections.

State Chairmen of the party in zone, who disclosed this at the end of their meeting in Abakaliki, the Ebonyi capital said they would work assiduously to ensure the party’s total victory in the zone in the next general election.

Addressing party stalwarts during the event, Imo state Chairman of the party, Dr Hilary Eke, said the chairmen were touring states in the zone to strengthen the party machinery ahead of future elections.

’Daily Post quoted Eke as saying that the APC will take over all the states in this zone.

"We have resolved to work assiduously to ensure the victory of the APC during the next elections; we are going round the zone to make sure that the APC is intact,” Eke said.

In their separate speeches, the APC chairmen for Anambra, Abia  and Enugu states, Emeka Ibe, Donatus Nwaba, and Dr. Ben Nwoye respectively, boasted that the APC would conquer the South-east in 2019.
