APC wades into Oshiohmole, deputy’s feud

Benin City - The national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has waded into the succession crisis brewing between the Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiohmole and his deputy, Pius Obudu.

The party has set up a five-man committee to reconcile them.

The reconciliation committee headed by the former Governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola

Other members of the committee are Senator Osita Izunaso, Senator Ndoma Egba, Hajiya Fatimah Mohammed and Alhaji Ahmed Abdullahi.

Speaking during inauguration of the committee, National Chairman of the party, John Oyegun expressed concern over crisis that has suddenly engulfed the party in the state.

Oyegun said the committee is charged with the responsibility of proffering solutions to the issues and restore normalcy to the party in the state.

He assured all members of the party leadership of themwould provide a level-playing field for every player in the Edo elections and would not discriminate against anyone.
