Abuja - Ward chairmen from the Bayelsa State chapter of the All Progressives Congress on Wednesday stormed the party’s national secretariat in Abuja to protest the political appointments of some Bayelsa indigenes.
The chairmen demanded the reversal of the appointments, noting that they were done in bad faith.
The protesters carried placards with various inscriptions such as “Lokpobiri must go,” “Lokpobiri says APC is Boko Haram,” “Bayelsa APC says in Tiwei we trust,” among others.
