Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed the younger sister of the Senate President, Gbemishola Saraki, as the Chairman Governing Council of Federal University, Otuoke, Bayelsa State.
Saraki was among the newly appointed Chairmen of Governing councils of nine federal universities in the country.

Inaugurating the councils on Tuesday, Buhari said Saraki and the other appointees were carefully selected because of their pedigree and competence.
Represented by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, the President urged the new appointees to help the Federal Government achieve its goal of improving the standards of education in the country.
Responding on behalf of Chairmen, Saraki, said she and her colleagues considered the appointment as a privilege and a call to service.
