Abuja - President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday night held a closed-door meeting with senators, reports NewsDay.
The President had earlier before the meeting hosted a dinner in their honour at the new Banquet Hall of the State House.

Senate President, Bukola Saraki led other senators to the event.
Speaking shortly before excusing the media from the meeting, Buhari thanked the Senate for the prompt confirmation of ministerial nominees, calling on them to treat the nation’s budget with the same sense of urgency.
Saraki assured the President that national issues would be treated without sentiments under his watch.
Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) also attended the meeting.
