Buhari urges Kogi people to vote for Audu

Lokoja - President Muhammadu Buhari has urged the people of Kogi State to join the change train and bring accelerated development to the state by voting for Abubakar Audu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship election in the state, reports Vanguard.

Buhari spoke on Wednesday in Lokoja at the Grand Finale rally for the APC governorship candidate.

Buhari, who was represented by Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, noted that the country was moving forward and Kogi must not be left behind.

The President also urged the electorate to wait behind until their votes were counted.

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains, including 15 elected council chairmen and special advisers, who defected to the APC were received into the party’s fold during the rally.
