Yenagoa - The card reader for the Bayelsa State governorship election has failed to function at the polling unit in front of former President Goodluck Jonathan’s house in Otuoke, reports Leadership.
The card reader machine failed to recognise the fingers of the former President after several attempts.
The machine could also not recognise the fingers of his wife and former First Lady, Patience Jonathan.

The former President and his wife have gone back inside their house as they and other voters await replacement of the card reader.
It would be recalled that during the 2015 general elections, Jonathan and his wife were both rejected by the card reader.
