Makurdi - The National Assembly election petition tribunal in Makurdi on Thursday upheld the election of former Senate President, Senator David Mark of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Daily Post.
The Tribunal struck out a petition filed before it by Daniel Onjeh, the All Progressives Congress candidate in the February 20 rerun in Benue South senatorial district against the victory of Mark.

Onjeh had approached the court, praying it to declare him winner of the election.
The judge in his judgment ruled that Onjeh filed his petition out of time, reports Nigerian Eye
He subsequently thrown out the petition.
Onjeh has, however, said he would appeal the judgement.
He disclosed this through his lawyer.
