Abuja - Days after his re-election as Bayelsa
State governor, Seriake Dickson has reached out to rivals to partner with him
and develop the state.
He said they were only opponents only during the
electoral process but the development of the state was foremost.
“The campaigns are over and my message to all is that the
elections have been won and lost but there is no vanquish," said Dickson.
"I hereby call on all the political candidates to
collaborate and partner with us to make Bayelsa secure, fight insecurity and
crime and criminality thereby continue to spread development and

He assured the state government is ready to work with all
partners in its restoration ideals.
The governor appreciated the people of the state for the
massive resounding confidence repose in his team and dedicated the victory to

personal victory for me but rather a victory for Bayelsa State."
The All Progressives Congress has rejected the
victory of the People's Democratic Party candidate following elections that
were marred by violence.
