Enugu - Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has expressed regrets over his inability to lure Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State into the All Progressives Congress (APC), reports Vanguard.
Dogara, who made the statement on Sunday at a grand reception organized by Senator Chuka Utazi from Enugu-North senatorial district, said one of his regrets is that he did not cross over to APC with Ugwuanyi.

Gov Ugwuanyi and Dogora were colleagues in the seventh House of Representatives..
Dogara’s said Ugwuanyi’s pedigree as a Progressive while at the House Representative will serve as a tonic that will boost governance in Enugu State.
The Speaker said he will hold the governor accountable if those developmental goals both of them championed were not implemented in the state.
