Abuja – A governorship aspirant of the All Progressives (APC) in Edo State, Kenneth Imasuagbon, has reportedly wept over the absence of President Muhammadu Buhari at a time when the party is holding its primaries in the state.
President Buhari is still in the United Kingdom where he went to seek medical treatment over 2 weeks ago.
According to Daily Trust, a video of Imasuagbon inside a commercial aircraft and bemoaning why Buhari should be ill during this time has gone viral online.
Imasuagbon could be heard saying: "Why is Buhari ill now that I want to with elections," the report said, adding that the governor aspirant confirmed the contents of the video.
Meanwhile, The Guardian reported on Saturday that security agencies in Edo State would provide 1 650 personnel for the APC primary elections to be held in Benin City.
