Benin City - Edo State House of Assembly has approved the sack of both the suspended Chairmen of Oredo Local Government Council and Etsako Central Local Government Council, Osaro Obazee and Emmanuel Momoh respectively, reports The Nation.
Both were suspended in 2015 over inability to pay salaries, illegal appointments and diversion of Internally Generated Revenue (IGR), amongst other allegations.

The two chairmen were indicted by the panel of inquiry that investigated allegations against them.
The lawmakers, however, reinstated two other chairmen, Victor Enobakhare and Roland Ibieorutonwen, of Egor and Orhionmwon LGAs
The lawmakers said the panel’s report did not indict Enobakhare and Ibieorutonmwen, adding that both chairmen were not given fair hearing.
