Benin City - The Edo State deputy governor, Pius Odubu has denied rumours that the state House of Assembly is planning to impeach him following his disagreement with Gov. Adams Oshiomhole, reports Vanguard.
Odubu noted that there was no rift between him and the governor to warrant moves for his impeachment.
Odubu was reacting to an advertisement in the media by a group which alleged that there are plots to impeach him.

He described the allegation as the figment of the imagination of the group, which he said was faceless.
He said that the advertisement was nothing but a red herring by those bent on driving a wedge between him and the governor.
