Benin City -  The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has started plans to hold a meeting with security agencies in Edo State, ahead of the governorship election in the state, reports Punch

The meeting with the security agencies will involve the Department of State Services, the police, the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, the army, navy and others.

The commission had shifted the date of the election which was originally scheduled to hold on September 10 to September 28 due to security advice from the DSS and the police, reports News 24
