Ex-deputy governor consults over return to APC

26 April 2016, 12:05

Abeokuta - Former Ogun deputy governor, Gbenga Kaka has said he and others who dumped the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Social Democratic Party (SDP) are consulting on whether to make a return to the party.

The senator, who was former deputy governor under the Olusegun Osoba administration from 1999 to 2003, spoke on the backdrop of Osoba’s reconciliatory meeting and his subsequent return to APC.

He said being integrated back into the party won’t be an issue should he decide to make a return.

Kaka, a member of the Seventh Senate, said he was not in the country at the time Osoba met with Southwest APC leaders.

Osoba made a return to the ruling APC on April 3 after a meeting with the leadership of the party in Lagos.
