Fani-kayode replies Dokpesi over comment on Jonathan’s candidancy

Abuja - Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has responded to comments credited to the Chairman of DAAR Communications, Raymond Dokpesi about ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s candidacy in the 2015 presidential election.

Dokpesi had while speaking to newsmen on Tuesday in Abuja as Chairman of the National Planning Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party's national conference, said the imposition of Jonathan by the party might have been responsible for the party’s loss of the presidency in the last general election.

Fani-Kayode, who was the Director of Media and Publicity of the party’s 2015 Presidential Campaign Organization, however dismissed this statement as untrue.

Fani- Kayode, who took to his Twitter handle @realffk, said it was not a mistake for PDP to field Jonathan in the last election.

He said the party owes nobody any apology for fielding Jonathan in the election.
