16 December 2015, 13:08

Abuja - The fear of a possible arrest by security operatives has gripped the National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Olisa Metuh, reports Sahara Reporters

This follows reports that Metuh also got contracts from the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

At a crowded press conference at his office in Abuja on Tuesday, Metuh admitted undertaken a special assignment for former President Jonathan during his term of office and was paid for it.

He, however, refused to disclose the job or what he was paid for.

He noted that he has uncovered plots by the Federal Government to persecute him for voicing out the view of the opposition.

Metuh failed to give reasons for his claim that the government was after him, but made a veil reference to the ongoing wave of arrests of some of his colleagues in the PDP over monies received from the office of the National Security Adviser.
