Abuja - Former ministers, on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) between 1999 and 2015, have strongly expressed disappointment with former President Goodluck Jonathan for supporting the candidacy of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff as National Chairman of the party.
The minister noted that Jonathan’s support for Sheriff would not augur well for the party.
Three of the former ministers, who spoke on behalf of their colleagues expressed disappointment that Jonathan deliberately brought Sheriff to kill the party.

They wondered why Jonathan, who is one of the greatest beneficiaries of the party will support somebody that will kill the party.
They said they had expected the former President being a leader of the party to provide the leadership and hold the party together.
