Frank blasts Oyegun over Lai Mohammed’s replacement

16 March 2016, 15:22

Abuja - The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank has berated the party’s National Chairman, John Oyegun over his comments on finding a replacement for Lai Mohammed.

Oyegun had on Monday while fielding questions from journalists at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, stated that the party is finding it difficult to look for a replacement for the former spokesperson of the party, who is now Minister of Information.

Frank described Oyegun’s statement as reckless, baseless and unwarranted.

He described the statement as malicious and was meant to discredit him and the party, stressing that there were many party men and women who can fill the vacant positions in the party.

He disagreed with his National Chairman, saying that the need for election should not have arisen when there was a deputy who would step into the shoes of Mohammed.
