Abuja - A fresh crisis is again brewing in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Some members of the party have dragged the party’s leadership to court over the continued stay in office of Ali Modu Sheriff as the party’s National Chairman.
The members under the aegis of the Restart PDP Group has filed a suit asking an Abuja High Court to order Sheriff and other National Working Committee (NWC) members to vacate their offices by the end of March.

The suit was filed by Nwosu Emmanuel and Eze Chuks Silas.
The two members are also asking the court to stop the party’s national convention slated for May 21, until the PDP membership register is computerised as stipulated in section 8(11) of its constitution.
