Gov Bello jets out to Mecca for prayers over Kogi political crisis

Lokoja - Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has travelled out of the country for the holy land  of Mecca, Saudi Arabia

The governor embarked on the trip to seek the face of God ahead of the celebration of his 100 days in office.

The governor would also used the opportunity to pray for a permanent solution to the political crisis rocking the state.

The governor who embarked on the trip with some of his aides and associates, called on Kogi State people to join him in praying for their state to progress among the comity of states in Nigeria.

The state has been in crisis after the governor won the governorship election.

His victory is being challenged by his predecessor, Idris Wada.

The state House of Assembly is also embroiled in crisis following the impeachment of the Speaker of the House, Jimoh Lawal.
