Lokoja - Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State on Thursday held a closed door meeting with the national leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the party's secretariat in Abuja, reports Newswall.
The meeting, which lasted for over two hours was convened to find a solution to the political crisis rocking the state.
The governor is at loggerheads with the state chapter of the party.

Leaders of the party in the state have accused the governor of sidelining them and appointing members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into his government.
The governor is also fingered in the current crisis rocking the state House of Assembly.
Although, details of the meeting were not disclosed, it was learnt that the governor pleaded with the national leadership to intervene in the crisis.
