Akure - Forty eight hours after they were elected, the new 18 local government chairmen in Ondo State were sworn in by the State governor, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, on Monday .
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the International Events Centre, DOME in Akure, the state capital, was attended by the dignitaries.

Addressing the new council bosses, governor Mimiko charged them to fastrack more development at the grassroot.
Mimiko who said he was particularly happy for another success story recorded by his party urged them to provide more dividends of good governance in their council areas.
The governor charged them to employ team dynamics and good human management spirit in their administrations.
