Lokoja - Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State on Tuesday reinstated all the sacked council chairmen and councillors in the state, reports Vanguard.
Their recall is in obedience to the Court of Appeal’s ruling which ordered their immediate reinstatement.
The council chairmen and councilors were in 2014 dismissed through an order of a High Court.

The Appeal court faulted the ruling of the High Court and ordered the immediate reinstatement of the chairmen.
Some of the chairmen, who were elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had already defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after Wada failed to obey the court order to reinstate them.
The situation of some of the chairmen who defected to the APC is yet to be defined as the statement directing them to resume office was silent on the defectors.
