I have no plan to move to the APC - Kashamu

21 December 2015, 09:48

Abuja - Ogun Senator Buruji Kashamu has stated that he has no plans to defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC), saying his support for an end to corruption is in the interest of the people and not of his own, Vanguard reports.

Kashamu has reiterated his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's war on corruption, saying that graft must die in order for Nigeria to live.

In a statement Kashamu disclosed that he is not supporting anti-corruption drives with the intention of leaving the People's Democratic Party (PDP), adding that previous governments made feeble attempts to root out graft without a sustainable plan of action.

The Ogun Senator reiterated that he is in no way romancing the APC, saying that he will support good initiatives in the same way that he criticizes bad ones.
