I won't be intimidated by your 'juju', Jigawa governor tells Ondo APC aspirants

Abuja - Ahead of Saturday's All Progressives Congress ( APC) governorship primary election in Ondo State, the Chairman of the Election Committee and Governor of Jigawa State Abubakar Badaru has dared the aspirants seeking the party’s ticket, reports Daily Post

Badaru said he won’t be intimidated by their mystical powers (juju) in the primary election.

Recalled that the party's state secretariat in Akure was on Tuesday turned into a shrine.

Aggrieved members of the party locked up the entrance of the building and placed fetish objects at the gate, reports News 24.

Badaru said he is not afraid of charms and will conduct the Ondo APC primary election transparently.

He stated this while briefing newsmen in Abuja after being sworn in as the Chairman of APC Ondo Primary Election Committee.

The five-member election committee is chaired by Badaru with other members include: Dr. Bruce Ugbode (Secretary), Hon. Hamma Adama Ali, Prince M. Martins and Mohammed Lawal.
