Ifeanyi Ubah campaign posters hit Awka

15 November 2016, 12:26

Anambra - The campaign posters of businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Capital Oil and Gas, Ifeanyi Ubah has flooded the capital city of Awka

Ubah is eyeing the Anambra governorship seat in 2017.

The posters which were seen in strategic places in Awka, bore the inscription: Restoration 2017, Ifeanyi Ubah for Governor Anambra State,

The posters, however, did not indicate the party he was intending to actualise his ambition, reports Thisday.

Ubah has however distanced self from the campaign posters, saying they did not emanate from him or his office.

Ubah, in a statement personally signed by him, urged those behind the posters not to heat up the polity in the state.

News 24 recalls that Ubah contested for the  governorship seat in 2013 under the banner of the Labour Part but lost to the incumbent governor, Willie Obiano who was the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
