Abuja - The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Wednesday decide on a new date for the conduct of the Bayelsa State supplementary election, reports The Sun.
The commission has summoned security agents and other stakeholders such as the leadership of political parties, Civil Liberty Organisations (CLOs), for an enlarged meeting on Wednesday to deliberate on the new date.
The decision to summon the meeting was reached on Monday after the Chairman of the commission, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu met with the commission’s national commissioners in Abuja.

It was agreed that the meeting should hold to ensure that all parties involved in the Bayelsa election were carried along.
The commission had declared the Bayelsa State governorship election inconclusive following the cancellation of the result from Southern Ijaw Local Government Area
