Yenagoa - The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mohammud Yakubu has reiterated the commission’s preparedness to conduct a free, fair and credible governorship election in Bayelsa State on December 5, reports Vanguard
Yakubu said the commission has put in place the necessary arrangement to conduct a credible poll despite the allegation that a party had concluded plan to rig the poll.

He noted that the commission will ensure that no Bayelsan voter is disenfranchised in the Saturday election.
He said all the Permanent Voter’s Cards from the recent continuous voters registration exercise have been delivered to the INEC office in Bayelsa state for onward distribution to their owners.
He insisted that card readers will be used in the election, noting that incident forms would allowed where proper verification of voters are done.
