Lokoja - The factional Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Godwin Osiyi has denied that the House is planning to impeach the new governor-elect of the state, Yahaya bello immediately after he is sworn-in, reports NewsDay.
Osiy said the state legislators were ready to work with the incoming governor.
Osiyi, who said this on Monday while addressing newsmen in Lokoja, maintained that the impeachment of the former Speaker, Momoh Jimoh Lawal was real.

The Speaker who is representing Ogori/Mangogo State constituency said the impeachment of the former Speaker could not be upturned.
He denied that the impeachment of Jimoh was influenced by external forces.
