Duste - Former Jigawa State governor, Sule Lamido has described the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a gathering of sinners because it was formed largely by former members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reports Daily Post.
Lamido was reacting to claims by the National Chairman of APC, John Oyegun that the present economic hardship in the country was caused by the PDP.
Lamido, who made this assertion on Sunday while fielding questions from newsmen in his village, Bamaina, Jigawa State, explained that the APC got a chance to win the 2015 general election because of the support of PDP members, who defected to APC few months to the polls.

He stated that if the PDP committed sins in its 16 years in power, then it means that people like Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Aliyu Wamakko, Rotimi Amaechi, Aminu Tambuwal, Umar Ganduje, Atiku Abubakar and a host of many others who claimed to be APC members today are all sinners because they were in the PDP before joining the APC,
The former governor, who accused the ruling party of achieving nothing within its one year in office, asserted that APC was rather making mistakes that have plunged the nation into its present economic meltdown.
