Abeokuta - Three factional chairmen emerged Tuesday for the Ogun State chapter of People's Democratic Party (PDP).
The emergence of factional chairmen was fallout of the parallel state congresses conducted at separate venues by the PDP members in Abeokuta, the state capital.
The party members have been divided along the camps of the Senator representing Ogun East, Buruji Kashamu; ex-House of Representatives Speaker, Dimeji Bankole; and the lawmaker representing Remo Federal Constituency, Oladipupo Adebutu.

While the Kashamu-backed faction held its congresses at the PDP State Secretariat, Abeokuta, the faction loyal to Adebutu held the exercise at the nearby Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) complex, Abeokuta.
On their part, party members loyal to Bankole gathered at the Ake Palace Ground, Abeokuta to organise the state congresses.
