Omisore ejects Osun PDP from secretariat

16 May 2016, 21:35

Osogbo -  A faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Osun State led by Soji Adagunodo has been sacked from the party’s secretariat located along Osogbo-Gbongan Road, reports Newswall.

The faction was ejected from the secretariat on the orders of a former Deputy Governor of the state, Senator Iyiola Omisore.

Omisore is believed to have rented the party secretariat and had been the one paying rent on the property located  in the heart of Osogbo, the state capital.

According to Punch, the ejection of the faction of the PDP from the secretariat  is a direct fallout of the crisis rocking  the party in the state over the congresses to elect leaders of the party from ward level to state level.
