Akure - Ahead of Wednesday’s Ondo governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress, some aspirants are currently wooing the 3 000 delegates that would vote in the exercise, reports Punch
The aspirants are trying to outwit each other and win over delegates' support by offering them between N300 000 and N500 000 each in exchange for their votes.
The aspirants have dispatched their campaign agents to the field in various parts of the state scouting for delegates' support.
The delegates would come from 203 wards across the 18 local government areas of the state.
No fewer than 25 aspirants will be contesting for the ticket of the party at the primary, reports News 24
The twenty-five aspirants include Ajayi Borrofice, Olusegun Abraham, Olusola Oke, Rotimi Akeredolu, Tayo Alasoadura, Jumoke Anifowose, Gboye Oyewumi, Bode Ayorinde, Olabimtan Victor and Paul Akintelure.
Others are Jamiu Ekungba, Ademola Adegoroye, Akinwale Akingbade, Apata Awodeyi, Akinrinsola Odunayo,, Derin Adesida,, Tunji Abayomi, Bukola Adetula, Niyi Adegbonmire, Foluso Adeyemi, Ayo Akinyelure, Dele Alade, Akinola Olayinka, Tunji Light Ariyomi and Moyosola Niran Oladunni.
