Oshiomhole stated this when he spoke at a rally of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Jattu, Etsako West Local Government Area of the state.

He urged the people to resist attempts to woo them to sell their PVCs

He further said that the PDP ruined the nation’s economy in 16 years, reports The Nation

According to him, “on May 29, 1999, when the PDP took over the reins of the Federal Government, the official rate of naira was N21.90 to $1, by the time they were chased out of power, the naira was already exchanging for close to N200.

Over 2 000 PDP members, led by Peter Iyhu, defected to the APC at the rally.
