Ibadan - Gov. Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo State has promised to conduct local government elections in the state in the first quarter of 2016, reports Sun.
The governor refused to conduct council elections throughout his first term in office.
The opposition had said that Ajimobi was afraid of conducting the elections for fear of losing some local governments to them.
