Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has raised an alarm over plots to poison its spokesman, Olisa Metuh, reports NewsDay.
Metuh was arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday in connection with the $2.1 billion arms deal.
The EFCC has traced about N1.4billion out of the $2.1billion to an account of a company allegedly linked with Metuh.

The PDP said it is aware of plans to break Metuh down and if possible poison him during his detention by the EFCC.
The party is demanding for his immediate release and due process of investigation and prosecution concerning him should be strictly adhered to.
