Benin City - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Edo State has accused the state governor, Adams Oshiomole and the All Progressives Congress, APC, of plotting to rig the September 10 governorship election, reports Vanguard
The party warned that any attempt to subvert the will of the people in the election will be resisted.

State chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih, who gave the warning on Wednesday at the campaign rally for the party’s governorship candidate, Osagie Ize-Iyamu, in Uzebba, Owan West Local Government Area, called on government institutions and security agencies to beware and not work with the APC in subverting the will of the Edo people.
Orbih according to Daily Post pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to maintain his neutrality in the September 10 election in the state has he had done in previous elections in other states
He challenged Oshiomhole to tell Edo people how much a company, Afrinvest, owned by the APC governorship candidate, Godwin Obaseki, has invested in the the Edo University, Iyamho (EUI).
