Yenagoa - The campaign organisations of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bayelsa State on Tuesday engaged in accusations and counter accusations over the alleged plot to rig the December 5 governorship election, reports National Mirror.
The Restoration Campaign organisation for the re-election of Gov. Seriake Dickson alleged that some APC leaders in the state have plotted to infiltrate the ranks of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and recruit thugs with fake uniforms of the military and the Nigerian police force in a bid to rig the election.

However, the APC through the director of Media and Publicity for the Sylva/Igiri Campaign Organisation, Nathan Egba dismissed the allegation as a lie saying that the allegation was first put forward by the APC before the security agencies for detailed investigation.
He said the claims made by the PDP was that of a sinking ship and a loser.
