Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its embattled acting National Chairman, Uche Secondus on Thursday approached the Court of Appeal in Abuja seeking to set aside last Tuesdays decision by an Abuja High Court which ordered Secondus removal as the party’s chairman, reports Leadership.
In the suit filed by Emeka Etiaba,, the party urged the court to set aside the entire judgement of the high court.

The party argued that the lower court erred in its judgement in the suit brought against it and Secondus by a former Special Adviser to former President Goodluck Jonathan of Political Matters, Ahmed Gulak
The party had argued in the objection that the suit concerns and touches upon the internal affairs of the party, adding that the Gulak failed to pursue and exhaust the domestic remedies available to him before approaching the court.
No date has been fixed for the hearing of the appeal.
