Abuja - The Rivers State Chapter of People's Democratic Party (PDP) has called on local voters to reject the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming.
The State and National Assembly elections are set for March 19.
PDP Rivers Chairman, Felix Obuah, who made the call, stressed the state was still to recover from alleged corruption by the previous administration of Rotimi Amaechi.
He said this underscored the fact that members of the APC should not be entrusted with public office.
Obuah warned the people that APC members could not be trusted with the management of state resources again.

"Most worrisome are the lamentations by the National Chairman of APC, John Oyegun over the resources of Rivers and other Niger Delta States. This has further exposed the antics of the APC," Obuah said.
Obuah said Oyegun's "body language" suggested APC were after the resources of Rivers State and not the development of the region.
The PDP leader expressed joy at the recent Supreme Court judgment endorsing Nyesom Wike as governor.
"This has engendered peace and tranquility in the state. The only way to sustain the peace is to reject the APC and all its antics."
