Abuja - A leading contender for the post of the National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Raymond Dokpesi has rejected the zoning of the position to the South-west geo-political zone, reports Punch.
Dokpesi is from the South-south.
The party had on Thursday zoned the position to the South-west reports News 24
But Dokpesi on Friday defied the party’s decision by picking the nomination form to contest the office at the forthcoming national convention.

The convention holds in Port Harcourt on August 17.
Dokpesi, who was the first person to pay the mandatory N1m for the form, was represented by one of his sons at the party’s temporary national secretariat in Abuja.
