The commission had traced about N1.4billion out of the $2.1billion to an account of a company allegedly linked with Metuh.
The PDP in a statement by Richard Ihediwa, Special Assistant to Metuh, said its spokesman was arrested because the federal government was not comfortable with Metuh’s stance as its mouthpiece.
The party said Metuh has been under threat for criticizing the government on a wide range of issues.
