Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed shock over the death of former Kogi State governor and the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in last Saturday’s election, Abubakar Audu, reports Vanguard.
The party described Audu' death as a monumental loss to the people of Kogi State and Nigeria.

The party in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, urged Nigerians to pray for the late Audu and his family.
The party said it is not commenting on the conduct of the election for now, noting that was it is important at this point is the sanctity of human life.
