PDP faults President Buhari for collecting SUVs from Dasuki

Abuja - The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has faulted claims by President Muhammadu Buhari that he only got two SUVs car from the embattled former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, reports Premium Times.

The party said it was wrong for Buhari to have received the cars from the office of NSA instead of that of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, which is responsible for such dealing.

The PDP, in a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh on Wednesday said the leak that President Buhari benefited from the office of the NSA stresses the fact that the war against corruption should be holistic, transparent and not politicized.

The party called for a neutral body to be involved in the anti-graft campaign of the current administration.

The party said it can prove prove that proceeds of corruption were used in funding the presidential campaign of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
