While the Makarfi faction held its primary in Akure, the Sheriff faction primary was done in Ibadan
But the Publicity Secretary of the Makarfi faction, Banji Okunomo, noted that it was wrong for Ebiseni to have described the primary held in Akure as “illegal and undemocratic”.
Okunomo cautioned Ebiseni against over-ambition, which, he claimed, is making him to ‘approbate and reprobate’ at the same time.
He stated that Ebiseni’s position is a confirmation of the initial stand of the party that the Sheriff faction and its dealings were illegal.
